Melanie and Steven's Wine Country Wedding

Melanie and Steven’s wedding took place at the gorgeous Willow and Oak Estate, located near the picturesque county of Paso Robles, which is known for its world-class wines, natural hot springs, and fine olive oils. It was a bit of a drive to reach this beautiful venue, but we made the most of the journey with a few delightful stops along the way, most notably the charming Danish village of Solvang and the scenic seaside town of Morro Bay.

I first met Melanie and Steven when Steven reached out to me for his surprise proposal. He wanted to make it special so he rented out a local theater and had a ballet performance preceding his proposal. It was such a romantic and meaningful proposal since Melanie had a background in ballet in her past. I am always so impressed by the way my couples come up with some of the most creative ways to express their love.

This particular wedding was so much fun on so many levels starting off with the couple themselves to all the participants in their wedding party. What made it even more special was the live band who performed some top hits from the likes of Blink 182. And to top it off, the bride surprised the crowd by singing “I’m just a girl” by No Doubt. Such a rocking performance that their guests will never forget.

We started off the day with the traditional getting ready photos for both the bride and groom.
